Trident: 1 outline layer above all with mishappening (unf some textures are on outline layer), a multiply layer and a bg2 layer. Bg2 was to create general whiteness and inline to help shading of the outline (y know scanned bg yust looks baad!)
Spear: Same but the outline is in multiply. Forgot why. Used selection tool and bultiply brush to create pattern; less dense brush of dodge tool to create gradient...

and have a lighten and a linear burn layer for the staff. It is a copy-paste selection to next layer put history source here and let's run trough all layer blending style work. When it looks cooler, I save it and "let's see how I can improve it more".
