A while ago I did 3 pen drawings. 545-7. I decided to do less with more work. I still have no idea what this is. I have idea where it has been forged and what resources were used. Bones, lots of bones, practice and memory of a spell locked in a soul. A spine and elongated fingerbones adjusted not to look like as a human hand any more. A lizardlike skull is there, an intruder. Normally you, or anyone would rather have a THING made out of a lizard, than a human. That isn't interesting. The remains are only used to link this spell back to reality. A focus is needed and voila.

You can hold it where the shawl crosses the shaft, no bumps there. 

It is actually a spear, not a staff. It looks like a sword though. Not a comfortable one. You need to adjust the magic used and have some controll to have the full lenght, that is 8m. So do you get it now what it is used against? Good. Then you have the measures they took by crafting it, and the reason, why they risked this... herecy.
