FOG

Made from a platinumlike alloy mined in the grey world. As sturdy at least as platinum, less flexible and it's edges turn to vapor. The rvannik tree's root keeps it from becoming aetherial again. The root is halfway through the real and grey. The blade is less of a weapon and more like a sealing tool agains portals and entities invading. Has nothing special against spells.

Sparkle

Gwinn work, solid steel-glass (main material is glass) The idea was to create a glassy edge with a blade strong enough to bend and vibrate agains the forces. The merge is almost flawless, although the result can only be called a sword cosmetically. It is fragile, might not survive the first blow. When the smith realized the item had to be kept together by magic to function, she sold it to a collector and went on with experimenting. The guard was polished and altered magically to look similar as the handle.

Flaw

From the same gwinn "smith" cames the exact opposite, steel fined with the properties of glass. The surface of the blade is rugged, jagged, less optimal for cutting, the blade has a dark hue after being polished. It certainly inherited the weight of the glass and the edges. The crossguard turned into full glass and a magic source was injected to keep the blade from falling apart - for safety. The result can still not perform up to a steel blade.

Flame Horns

A flame encapsuled - you guessed it! - glass. The blade is completely rigid and almost flat. The forces working between the flat surface give away a clue what the smith wanted to create - before backind out. Crossing ice and fire and creating a flame that is solid using the hard way. Also wanted to add size shifting. The result can outperform a normal blade in cutting power, but not in magic. And maybe in beauty

Though these look great, the handles are all pretty short... would be pretty tough to wield.
