For one thing: This thing is not made from metal, pointless to search for the dragon motive on the blade. It needn't be forged to be a katana. It only has a similar shape. Still you can wield it like one, but it's edge is lighter. The curse? It works pretty fast, in seconds infact. It turns to break your mind first with blocking your eyesight then your other senses. You can fight it off with pure will... not on the open battlefield or in a duel. Yet it needs a flesh cut at least half an inch deep.
