---Wide bow /Berkay (Araby / Humans and anyone willing to work with them. Based on the Ottoman Empire 15th Century)/
Because it is 5 feet high and you can only use it in the wild, because you have to take a wide stance to pull it. Has a pretty neat range indeed!
----/Hattyú asszony /Kingdom of Greenwater ( Elves / Based on 15th Century English/Irish culture)/
Light as a feather, a lady can use it without effort. The string moves silently. One of the few bows that string up themselves.
----/ Gyors halál/ Sussuria (Humanoid Felines / Cat people - Oriental Culture Japan/Mongolian/Korea 15th Century
A bow only 3 feet high with not a long range, nor a high demage, but easy to handle and fires rapidly. You also can fire bolts with it (for lower range) and if you have to make out in the deep jungle it will function without slowing you down.
---/ Gerinc/ Yin-Drakkos - Snake Naga people and Dragons
Made from the spine of a certain reptile it is flexible and somehow stiff. It refuses to decay. Even trough the item seems to be dead some kind of a will is sensible, like an unwanted owner would have challanges to aim properly (the ones not having a backbone!)
---/Kár/ Korin Ithrik ( Dwarves / Based on 16th Century Russian culture based on what they took from the Iranian, and Turks more advanced-ish)
This is a composite (mostly metal) bow. The ends are more flexible than the center and the steel (or whatever) wire might hurt your hand, but it's range is fabulous. You have to keep it safe from acid. It is really rare (since dwarwen crossbows are more likely) but said that normal arrows might pierce massive armor if fired from such a thing).
