Weaponry 257 by Random223 Weaponry 257 by Random223

Currently working freelance for on Spectral project. Thinking about giving few items to them and dotdotdot. Yep, copypasted the blade...

There is a certain relationship. No download, ask for a paying commission!

The first 2 are Black Skin blades. The third one was made from a contact with Sacon. Even trough they seem like tech blades, it is only a matter of resources and the way they handle magic.

A Black Skin is a 4 feet tall humanoidlike creature. Black scales cover entirely except hand-size ears. Bald, thin. From inside, fire heats the soul to attain power/knowledge, from the spirit, it is mostly unstable. Compared to a dark elf, one looks more like Yoda. Not mammals even trough grow in wombs. Females seem like males... flat. Compared to a goblin, more reasonable, and a load of magic. Compared to a demon, more relation to nature and family.

-- Black Skin blades are altering the way magic alters the fabric of the universe handling it like waves besides building up inner energy (you might know as Chi or Ki).
A blade has different layers of fabric that guides magic energy on a path that generates waves that effect. To simplify it: adds behaviors to both magic and the blade. The blade might absorb and reflect magic back to magic or inside magic items. Black Skin warriors' blades make other artifacts blow up in a rather spectecular way when owner gets into close combat.
A Black Skin blade uses the wielder's magic powers to produce effect and usually fed from the wielder's magic regeneration. Sometimes absorb as much to recover the wielder's energy system. One who has gain acknowledge on how to empower an item such, can use it depending on the item's and own limits.
It is a saying that a Black Skin blade can change owner's aura. That misplaces the border between this art and the human Spirit Powered artifact art. Or only heard of Táncos's bladework.

--- Sacon blade: Jégkard

The forger was also the priest who used the named item. Gergő Hálvády had artificer skills beyond his naming convention abilitys to call the item simply iceblade. Forged entirely from the ice and ore Sacon gave him and used previously as a main part of his artifical homonculus. Together with that a part of his soul, a second shard Sacon gave to Gergő was forged into it.
Gergő forged his emotions into the blade. More like forged the emotions out of it leaving a clear mind and focus inside.
The blade is a Changer. Can blend, bend and reach further and with much less effort than a solid tree form*. Or can be used as an arm. Gergő uses it as such to represent the trust Sacon gave him, however it is clear how he wielded it in a real combat. The same as his descendants did.

* Ask about the solid tree form if you need to.

The top and middle swords look awesome as usual. The bottom one looks a little uncomfortable to hold and a little unbalanced as well. XD

Should flip the hilt vertically and it would be ok.

they all remind me of large daggers, or short swords, never been able to tell the difference effectively, but great work on your part!
