He hid his consciousness in the armor's void with magical help and when the demon tried to enslave his force, the plate encapsuled both of them and was hidden deep under the desert mountains was meant to inprizon the demon for eternity. In the deep void of the plate the knight and the demon fought for decades, and when a rather fortunate adventurer came by and expected luck, the soul of the knight - tired from the fight against the terrible evil - made another contract with the demon to continue what they started. So the third contract was made, the demon plate consumed the second wictim and soon the second owner was encapsuled in the endless void, and after him many-many more.
